10 NFL Draft Prospects with Most to Prove at NFL Scouting Combine
John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports
Quinten Rollins, CB, Miami (OH)
In terms of the on-field drills, Rollins has more to lose than any other player at the combine. He played football for just one year after finishing a distinguished basketball career at Miami of Ohio, and thus there’s limited tape on him. He needs to show in the 40-yard dash and three-cone drill that he has the speed necessary to play the cornerback position. If he does that, he could position himself as a first-round candidate. Otherwise, he likely will be a Day 2 pick who will profile as a projectable safety with impressive playmaking ability.
