In the grand scheme of things, the NFL Scouting Combine isn’t that important. It’s a highly sensationalized platform for football players to showcase their talents in drills more suitable for Olympic athletes. With that said, it’s a great place for the personnel departments of all 32 teams to get all of the most notable prospects in one place and evaluate them both on and off the field.

While there are a few position groups that the combine, at least in the on-the-field drills, means very little for—quarterbacks and offensive linemen quickly come to mind—there’s a certain group of players that comes into Indianapolis with something to prove. Here are 10 players with the most to prove to NFL teams as the combine activities begin on Tuesday.
