13. New Orleans Saints- Shane Ray, OLB, Missouri

Though the Saints’ front seven vastly exceeded expectations in Rob Ryan’s first year in New Orleans, they regressed to the norm in 2014, and their lack of a consistent pass rush was one of the few reasons that they failed to make the playoffs, even in an extremely weak NFC South. Outside linebacker Parys Haralson is a free agent this offseason, and the Saints could stand to upgrade over him anyway, as the 31-year-old came up with only three sacks in 16 games as one of the team’s primary edge rushers.

Missouri’s Shane Ray would be a good fit for New Orleans. Though he is undersized and lacks polished run-defending skills, those weaknesses could probably be masked better in the Saints’ defense than they would in any other. Ray is extremely athletic and has immense pass-rushing potential, and he could do a great job of complimenting Junior Galette as an edge rusher.
