Top Five Second Half Goals for the St. Louis Blues
Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports
The St. Louis Blues are currently in the midst of a nine-day break built around the NHL All-Star break. While the team is taking some time to rest up and heal some bumps and bruises that have affected players in recent weeks, they’ll have to be ready to jump right back into action on January 29, as they’ll play their final 36 games over 73 days, which means that they’ll be averaging a game roughly every other day down the stretch.
It’s not like there’s a whole lot that the Blues have to change a whole lot in order to be successful the rest of the way; they have only lost one game in regulation during 2015 and currently sit in second place in the Central Division, just three points behind the Nashville Predators.
The Blues don’t have to make any earth-shattering adjustments over the break, but here are a few things that they should focus on going forward to ensure that they have a successful second half and set themselves up for a deep playoff run.
