Janoris Jenkins: Despite the fact that it was his third NFL season, Jenkins seemed to continue to regress in 2014. He was as shaky in coverage as ever, and though he shut down receivers at times, he failed when it mattered most, giving up five touchdowns over the course of the 14 games that he played this year.

On the bright side, Jenkins did have two interceptions, both of which were returned for touchdowns. Three seasons into his career, Jenkins now has five pick-sixes, which ties him for the most interceptions returned for touchdowns in Rams history. He also defended five passes, forced two fumbles, and recorded 59 tackles.

Jenkins made enough big plays that he had some worth during 2014, though his coverage was definitely a negative for the Rams’ defense. If he wants to prove that he still deserves a starting spot, he’ll have to improve his coverage this offseason and hope to hold off E.J. Gaines and Trumaine Johnson during camp next summer.
