After placing Chris Long on short-term injured reserve, the Rams elevated defensive tackle Matt Conrath from the practice squad to the active roster. Conrath, who had been on the active roster for the entirety of the previous two seasons, lasted just one week on the 53-man roster, as he was later released to make room for wide receiver Stedman Bailey, who returned early from a suspension after the NFL instituted a revised league drug policy.

The Rams also had two other defensive linemen, Kourtnei Brown in Weeks 2-4 and Doug Worthington in 16 and 17, who were part of the practice squad, though neither of them ever made it up to the active roster.
