Cody Davis: While Cody Davis was only in for 16 plays from scrimmage during the 2014 season, he found ways to contribute to the best of his ability as a core special-teamer, working on all the Rams’ units. Davis finished the season with 10 special teams tackles, which tied him with Daren Bates for second place on the team behind Chase Reynolds.

The second-year player has been a steady presence on the Rams’ special teams units since being promoted from the practice squad early in the 2013 season. While he’ll probably have to continue to fight for his spot on the 53-man roster due to the Rams’ excess of talent in the defensive backfield and Davis’s lack of experience from scrimmage, he showed himself to be a worthy contributor to the 2014 squad, which should boost his reputation heading into training camp next season.
