Missouri Tigers vs. Tennessee Volunteers: Start Time, Live Stream, TV Info and More

The Missouri Tigers make their final road trip of the season on Saturday, heading to Knoxville to take on the 5-5 Tennessee Volunteers. A win over Tennessee would be huge for Mizzou’s hopes of heading to the SEC title game, as their only remaining challenge would be a Black Friday afternoon game in Columbia, where they’ll take on Arkansas, the winners of just one conference game this year.

The Tigers and Vols have met just twice in their respective histories, with both matchups coming in the past two years after Mizzou joined the SEC. The Tigers won 51-48 in a tightly-contested 2012 game which was essential in a very rough transition year to their new conference. Last year, Mizzou won 31-3 at home as Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs made his first college start. Dobbs, who lost a quarterback competition to start the year, regained the Vols’ starting job three weeks ago, and he’ll be hoping to facilitate a better offensive attack than he did a year ago.

More from Missouri Tigers

Mizzou will be looking to complete an undefeated road schedule, heading into Tennessee at 4-0 in away games, with their two losses to Indiana and Georgia having come on their home turf at Faurot Field. The Tigers will be back at full strength on Saturday, as starting cornerback Aarion Penton will return from a one-game suspension stemming from his second arrest for marijuana possession this year.
