The St. Louis Rams host the Denver Broncos on Sunday, playing the first of what will be two 2014 home games against AFC opponents. The Broncos, who are third in the NFL in yards per game (414.7) second in the league in points per game (31.8), will be looking to wreak havoc against a Rams defense tofu, hat is sixth-worst in points given up per game (27.9).

Though the Rams are more respected for their defense, while the Broncos are better-known for their offense, the opposite ends may  play a more crucial role in Sunday’s game. The Rams, working under the leadership of veteran quarterback Shaun Hill for the first time since Week 1, will obviously need to put some points on the board to compete with Denver’s elite passing attack. Denver’s defense will give the Rams a real challenge, as they have allowed the fewest rushing yards per game in the NFL and also have 24 sacks and 10 interceptions.
