Missouri Tigers vs. Kentucky Wildcats: Start Time, Live Stream, TV Info and More

The Missouri Tigers enter the home stretch of their 2014 schedule against the Kentucky Wildcats, playing their ninth of 12 games on the year. Mizzou still has a shot at the SEC East title, especially with first place Georgia having to play #3 Auburn in two weeks. To do so, however, they especially need to improve their play at home, which will be crucial against Kentucky.

While the 5-3 Wildcats generally aren’t respected as a football program by the public, they’ve shown that they can take down respectable opponents, having defeated South Carolina earlier this year. Mizzou can’t afford to take any more programs lightly this year, as they were already embarrassed in a 31-27 loss to Indiana earlier this season.

More from Missouri Tigers

The Tigers will likely be without top receiver Darius White again on Saturday, as the 6-foot-3, 205-pounder suffered a groin injury during practice last week and missed the game against Vanderbilt. White, who flashed plenty of potential during the non-conference portion of the season, has missed three games due to injury this year.

This will be the fifth matchup all-time between the Tigers and Wildcats. Kentucky was victorious in first two games between the schools, which took place in 1965 and 1968. After a 44-year layoff, however, the schools resumed their series in 2012 as Mizzou joined the SEC. The Tigers have been victorious in the two subsequent matchups, winning 33-10 in 2012 and 48-17 last year.
