Missouri Tigers vs. Vanderbilt Commodores: Start Time, Live Stream, TV Info and More
The 5-2 Missouri Tigers play their fourth SEC game of the 2014 season on Saturday, looking to carry some of the momentum from last week’s 42-13 road victory over Florida into this week as they face the Vanderbilt Commodores.
The Tigers haven’t had too much success at home recently, having lost their last two home games against Indiana and Georgia in embarrassing fashion. Mizzou fell apart late against Indiana, who is not traditionally respected as a football program and is now 3-4, losing 31-27 on their home turf. After recovering to upset South Carolina on the road, the Tigers once again struggled mightily two weeks ago against Georgia, being shut out 34-0 despite the fact that the Bulldogs’ best player, running back Todd Gurley, was suspended for the contest.
After several weeks of being held back by injuries, particularly to the wide receiving corps, the Tigers are expected to be nearly at full strength this week, with running back Morgan Steward, who has missed the entire season, being the only injured skill player.
Meanwhile, Vandy, who is 2-5 overall and 0-4 in conference play, could be without defensive back Oren Burks, quarterback Patton Robinette, and tight end Davis Dudchock for Saturday’s contest. It’s worth noting that Robinette is one of four Commodore quarterbacks who have seen significant action this season. Johnny McCrary was the starter last week and fared rather well against Charleston Southern.
