The St. Louis Cardinals face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight in Game of their National League Division Series. The Dodgers won the regular season series between the two teams, winning four of the seven games the teams played while scoring 25 runs to the Cardinals’ 14. That included two embarrassing blowouts for the Cardinals on July 28 and 29, when the Dodgers won 9- and -0 on the heels of two fantastic pitching performances by Zack Grienke andClayton Kershaw.
With that said, Kershaw hasn’t always been able to dominate against the Cardinals, particularly in the two NLCS games which the Cards beat him in last year. Our Scott Criscionetook an in-depth lookat those splits earlier this week.
