Projecting the St. Louis Cardinals’ 2014 Postseason Roster

Starting Pitchers (4): Adam Wainwright, Lance Lynn, John Lackey, Shelby Miller
The first three guys in this group are more or less locked into the fold. The Cardinals could repeat last year’s events and leave Miller as the odd man out in favor of Wacha, but with Wacha still having yet to throw over five innings since returning from the shoulder ailment that sidelined him for much of the season, it seems safer to put Miller in the final spot and let Wacha work out of the bullpen.

Obviously if they end up in a risky situation where they’re down 3-0 in the division series, the Cards might have to consider throwing Wainwright back into the rotation and pushing back Miller to Game 5.
