When healthy, Melton is one of the best pass-rushing defensive tackles in the game, and while he hasn’t been ridiculously impactful thus far, we could see that change if the Rams’ interior doesn’t correct the issues that have caused problems through the first two weeks, particularly with center Scott Wells and guard Davin Joseph. The last thing the Rams can afford is the 6-foot-3, 290-pound Melton causing damage to another one of their quarterbacks, so they must make sure that he is taken care of Sunday.
