Next to Rolando McClain, Church has been the Cowboys’ most impactful defensive player thus far, having made 11 total tackles while knocking down two passes and intercepting one. The 6-foot-2, 218-pound safety could create issues for a Rams passing attack that does most of its damage with throws over the middle. Seeing asMark Barron, a safety who has generally been regarded as a poor pass defender, had a very good game against the Rams last week, we could see an even more impactful performance in Week 3 from Church if the Rams don’t prepare for him sufficiently.
