Rams outside linebacker Alec Ogletree is coming along very well and quickly establishing himself as one of the better players at his position in the game, but right now the title of best 4-3 outside ‘backer in the NFL belongs to David. The third-year player has as good of a combination of all-around skills as any player in the game, excelling in coverage, as a tackler, and as a pass rusher, having picked up 145 tackles, seven sacks, and five interceptions a year ago. With a Rams offense that may be relying heavily on passes over the middle with bigger possession guys like Jared Cook, Brian Quick, and Kenny Britt as the focal points of the passing attack, it will be tough to make things happen against David.
