McCoy is one of the best defensive tackles in the league, having registered 50 tackles and 9.5 sacks in 2014. If Rams guards Rodger Saffold and Davin Joseph don’t improve significantly from their extremely spotty Week 1 performance, they could get torn apart by McCoy. With as bad as the Rams’ running game was last week, it’s crucial that the staff tries to find some way to shut down McCoy. Otherwise, he could cause the offense to be even more anemic than it was in Week 1.
