What’s the best plan to handle a team that is expected to field 6-foot-3 Brian Quick and 6-foot-3 Kenny Britt as their primary outside receivers on Sunday? Probably acquiring Richard Sherman, but a great alternative is deploying 6-foot-1, 210-pound Xavier Rhodes to cover one of them. The 2013 first-rounder made progress as his season went along, and it would be fair to expect him to break out this year. He’ll certainly get an opportunity to start displaying that improvement against the Rams.
