NHL Draft 2014, Day 1: Start Time, Live Stream, TV Info and More
The 2014 NHL Draft kicks off on Friday night. Regardless of what happens, it will be a big night for the St. Louis Blues, who are scheduled to pick 21st in the first round. There have been rumors, however, that the Blues could use their first-rounder as part of a package to get an impact offensive player such as Ottawa’s Jason Spezza or Vancouver’s Ryan Kesler.
It will also be a momentous night for St. Louis native Ryan MacInnis, the son of Hockey Hall of Famer and Blues legend Al MacInnis. The 18-year-old played in the Ontario Hockey League this past season, and he’s definitely in the conversation as a possible first-round pick, perhaps even for the Blues if they retain their selection.
