Matt Carpenter

Matt Carpenter isn’t going to wow you with his power but he is a consistent hitter who will get on base and drive in runs. His approach at the plate is always consistent and is a key part of the Cardinals offense. Matt Carpenter is in his prime so it would be a safe bet to assume that he will be the best hitter on the Cardinals in 2014.
