Ryan Miller Allows 2 But Blues Beat Coyotes

Ryan Miller made his St Louis Blues debut in Glendale, Arizona as the Blues took on the Phoenix Coyotes. Ryan Miller allowed two goals but the Blues were able to get 4 3rd period goals to beat the Coyotes 4-2. Here are some highlights:

The Ryan Miller era got off to a shaky start when Ryan Miller got scored on just 2:56 into his career as a Blues:

In the second period, the Coyotes added to their lead with a goal by Jeff Halpern:

Then the Blues woke up and started to put the pressure on the Coyotes and it paid off with a goal by Patrik Berglund to cut the Coyotes down to 1.

Then a few minutes later the Blues were again in the Coyotes zone and were able to tie the game with a wrist shot by Magnus Paajarvi.

Then the phenom Kevin Shattenkirk got a chance with 7:14 left in the game on the powerplay to get what would later be the game winning goal.

The Blues added an insurance goal with 1:39 left in the game to put the game away for good to give Ryan Miller his first win as a St Louis Blues. Ryan Miller will make his home debut on Tuesday, March 4th against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
