Today is a special day for all high school football players. Today is the day all the letters stop coming in the mail, when all the coaches stop calling at all times and when they put their signature to paper and sign with the college they want to attend for the next couple of years. It’s National signing day and St. Louis is no exception to the madness of signing day. Here are the players who will be signing national letter of intents today.

Andy Bauer – Missouri.

Mizzou was able to steal this one time Ole Miss recruit after an outstanding season in the SEC. A big offensive lineman is going to be crucial if the Tigers want to always be in contention for the SEC East.

Brian Wallace – Arkansas

The CBC standout is taking his talents to Fayetteville, Arkansas to help rebuild the Razorbacks to the SEC elite.

Markel Smith – Iowa

The Metro Catholic schools produce some of the best talent in the St. Louis area and Vianney is no exception. Markel Smith is another St. Louis recruit heading to Iowa City to play for Kirk Ferentz.

Raymond Wingo – Missouri

Raymond Wingo decided to forge his own path and not follow in his brother’s footsteps. He decided to go to Mizzou instead of Arkansas.

Renell Wren – Arizona State

Lutheran North isn’t known for producing Division 1 talent but this future Arizona State Sun Devil earned his scholarship and will play a huge role in Todd Graham’s defense.

Other St. Louis Recruits:

Jonathan Bonner –  Notre Dame

Armon Watts – Arkansas

Zack Muniz – Duke
