The St Louis Cardinals are only 35 days away from pitchers and catchers reporting to Jupiter, Florida for Spring Training. The Cardinals seem to have everything in place for the 2014 season. However, there are 2 offseason moves the St Louis Cardinals can still make.
1. TradeJon JayorShane Robinson
After claimingRafael Ortegaoff waivers, the Cardinals have plenty of outfield prospects and not enough playing time to go around. So the Cardinals can trade away one of it’s bench players on the major league level.Peter Bourjosis likely the starter so the Cardinals can move either Jon Jay or Shane Robinson. If they can get a prospect, preferably a catcher, it would replenish the farm system. If I were the Cardinals GM, I would look at the Miami Marlins as a good trade partner.
