Henry Josey’s return from a career threatening injury.

It was a cold, crisp day in 2011. The Missouri Tigers were playing the Texas Longhorns and trying to beat them at least once before they head to the SEC. In the second quarter, star tailback Henry Josey was tackled and got injured on the play. Unfortunately, the fans in attendance did not know how significant the injury was. He tore mutliple ligaments and meniscus tears. Doctors told Coach Pinkel that they normally see this in a serious car wreck than they do in football.

That didn’t stop Henry Josey. He sat out the 2012 season to heal his leg and came back for the 2013 season. He not only came back, he came back strong. He ran for 1,074 yards and 13 touchdowns. His miraculous comeback was capped off with a game winning 57 yard touchdown run that propelled the Missouri Tigers to their first SEC championship game.

So what is your best storyline from 2013? Vote now and often. The winner will be announced in the new year.
