Here at Arch Authority, we are introducing a new feature on our site. It is called “The Monday Blues” where we recap the previous week in St Louis Blues hockey.

Week Ending December 7th, 2013:

Blues record: 1-2-0

The St Louis Blues have lost 3 of their last 4 games and are losing ground in the highly competitive Western Conference. The worst performace was against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday when the Blues lost 5-2 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

Top Performer of the week:

Kevin Shattenkirk

The young defenseman had his best week statistically for the Blues. Shattenkirk had 1 goal and 4 assists in the 3 games this past week. That is nearly 25% of his total points for the season in 1 week. Congratulations to Kevin Shattenkirk for the outstanding performance last week.

The week ahead

The St Louis Blues will travel to Winnipeg to face the Jets on Tuesday. Then the Blues come back to the states to play the Toronto Maple Leafs and travel to Columbus, OH to face off against the Bluejackets.
