Here are the newsmakers in the world of St. Louis sports on November 26th, 2013.

St Louis Blues try to win their 4th straight as they travel to Denver.

The St Louis Blues are on a roll and are moving up in the Western Conference standings. Before the Blues will enjoy some turkey with their families, they must travel to Denver to face off against the Colorado Avalanche. Patrick Roy was an outstanding goalie and he has turned around the Avalanche fairly quickly. The Blues are 2nd in the Central division only 1 point behind the Blackhawks.

High school football teams from across Missouri come to the Dome.

It’s become a St Louis tradition. Thanksgiving weekend is the Show-Me Bowl to decide the state champions in High School football. Here is the schedule of the games courtesy of MSHSAA.org:
