Yadier Molina and Matt Carpenter have both won the NL Sliver Slugger award for their positions. This is the first Sliver Slugger award for both Molina and Carpenter. The Cardinals weren’t the only team in the National League with 2 Sliver Sluggers. The Pittsburgh Pirates had Andrew McCutchen and Pedro Alvarez winning Sliver Slugger awards as well.
