The St. Louis Cardinals took 2 out of 3 against the Milwaukee Brewers. Here is our series recap.

One step closer

The Cardinals aren’t going to wow anyone with this series win over the Brewers but they didn’t get swept and didn’t lose any ground in the NL Central. A good series for the Redbirds.

Best pitching performance: Lance Lynn

Lance Lynn pitched an amazing game against the Brewers on Wednesday going 6 innings and giving up 1 run but it was unearned. Outstanding pitching performance by Lance Lynn.

Series Epilogue

The Cardinals will face off against the Seattle Mariners this weekend. They don’t have to face off against King Felix so as long as they take care of business, they should be fine. Now will Yadier Molina be back in time for the series is anyone’s guess. The Cardinals are getting closer and closer to the end of the season so it’s time to clinch the NL Central.
