The St. Louis Rams will not go 0 for in the preseason as they beat the Baltimore Ravens 24-21. Here are some observations from the game.
– With Sam Bradford sitting out tonight’s preseason game, Kellen Clemens and Austin Davis got all the reps at Quarterback to hopefully figure out who will be the backup quarterback. Somehow Kellen Clemens just won’t quit, going 13 for 18 for 188 yards. Austin Davis of course had an average of the preseason going 6 for 13 but throwing for 2 touchdowns. So who is it going to be? I hope it is Austin Davis but my gut is Kellen Clemens will keep the job.
– Zac Stacy didn’t have any “Wow” runs tonight but he was solid. 11 carries for 37 is average but it can definitely help the Rams establish a running game as a back up.
– The defense did well tonight but then again, Joe Flacco didn’t play so I don’t know how much you can take away from the defense in this game.
– Overall, it’s nice to end the preseason with a win so not much to complain about but we also didn’t learn much about the Rams tonight.
