The St. Louis Rams will begin training camp on July 25th, Arch Authority will breakdown key position groups and battles that will define the 2013 St. Louis Rams. Today we will breakdown the Rams defensive line.

Starters: Chris Long, Kendall Langford, Michael Brockers, and Robert Quinn.

Reserves: William Hayes, Matthew Conrath, Jermelle Cudjo, and Eugene Sims.

Outlook:

The defensive line is the strongest unit on this team with special teams being second. You have 3 solid pro bowl caliber players in Michael Brockers, Robert Quinn, and Chris Long. The two deep is just as capable of getting the job done as well. Even the 4th best starter on the defensive line had 27 tackles and 2 sacks last season. Michael Brockers looks to improve his solid rookie campaign which he had 31 total tackles (20 solo) and 4 sacks. Opponents will have to pick their poison with the St. Louis Rams this season when it comes to potential double teams. I expect the defensive line to lead the charge on a stout defense that will likely be in the top 10 in the NFL.
