Mizzou Tigers basketball players arrested for drug paraphernalia and suspended.

According to the Columbia Tribune, Mizzou Tigers men’s basketball players Jakeenan Gant and Russell Woods have been arrested on suspicion of  possession of drug paraphernalia. The pair were arrested last night. This continues the problems in the Mizzou Tigers athletic department; DE Terry Beckner Jr. was arrested for marijuana possession and QB Maty Mauk was dismissed from the team after a video surfaced alleging he snorted cocaine. Late, Mizzou self-imposed a postseason ban after NCAA violations surfaced.

According to Dave Matter, the arrests stemmed from a raid on the pair’s apartment.

The detectives found a stash of marijuana and multiple pieces of paraphenalia, including a grinder and “marijuana smoking devices”.

The pair have been suspended for tomorrow’s game against Alabama. We will have more as the situation develops.
