The St. Louis Cardinals kick off their 2015 home campaign on Monday afternoon at Busch Stadium, facing the divisional rival Milwaukee Brewers for the first game of a three-game series. The Cardinals, who have gotten off to a promising 4-2 start this year, will see if they can further tame the slumping Brewers, who have gotten off to a terrible 1-5 start in 2015. Thanks to an adjustment to the pitching rotation schedule created by a rainout at Wrigley Field last week, Cardinals ace Adam Wainwright will receive the honor of being the first Cardinal pitcher to throw in front of the home crowd this year. He’ll face Brewers ace Matt Garza, who had some major struggles in his first start of the season.

More from St. Louis Cardinals

It will be a full day of festivities on what is basically a local holiday in St. Louis. An official pep rally will take place in the Ballpark Village parking lot from 11:00 to 2:00 PM. The stadium gates will open at 1:15 PM, and the on-field ceremonies will kick off at 2:30 PM. Included will be the traditional appearance by the Budweiser Clydesdales, the introduction of the Cardinals’ Hall of Famers, and the entrance of all the members of this year’s Cardinals roster on Ford F-150s.
