After Tuesday’s game was postponed under suspicious circumstances–the game was called several hours in advance due to concerns about weather and cold, though the temperature at Wrigley Field remained in the 40s with no rain in sight while the game was scheduled to be going on–the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs will resume their season-opening series on Wednesday afternoon, playing the final game of what was scheduled to be a three-game series.

After Wednesday afternoon’s getaway day game, the Cardinals will head to Cincinnati to play the Reds this weekend, while the Cubs will travel to Colorado to play the Rockies.

After having their starts pushed back a day, two starters who have significantly ascended in recent years will face off against each other on Wednesday afternoon, as righthanders Lance Lynn and Jake Arrieta go to battle. Though the Cubs spent a bunch of money to bring in Jon Lester as the anchor of their rotation, there’s hope among Cubs fans that Arrieta, the Farmington, Missouri native, will develop enough to form a legitimate one-two rotation punch with the longtime Red Sox ace.

Here’s all the info you need to follow along with Wednesday afternoon’s Cardinals-Cubs game:
