2015 NFL Mock Draft: Post-Super Bowl Edition

26. Baltimore Ravens- Todd Gurley, RB, Georgia
Baltimore got incredible production out of Justin Forsett in 2014, but there are concerns over the journeyman being a one-year wonder, as well as the dreaded 30th birthday that awaits him in October. With that in mind, the Ravens pull the trigger and make Todd Gurley the first running back selected in the draft’s first round since the Giants took David Wilson with the final pick of the first in 2012.
Gurley’s recovering from a torn ACL, so he may not be back up to full speed until training camp or later. That shouldn’t be a concern for Baltimore, though, as they have a couple guys in Bernard Pierce and Lorenzo Taliaferro who can handle the load for a few games if necessary, and maybe Forsett if he re-signs in Baltimore. With this pick, they’ll be able to get one of the best running back prospects to enter the draft in a long time and stabilize the position for years to come.
