19. Cleveland Browns (from Buffalo)- Markus Golden, OLB/DE, Missouri

After taking Danny Shelton at pick 12, Cleveland gets back on the clock at pick 19 still unable to address their two biggest needs, quarterback and wide receiver. The only other first round QB, Marcus Mariota, has gone off the board, while the two top receivers have questions. Sammie Coates has issues with drops, while Dorial Green-Beckham is a virtual clone of Josh Gordon in terms of his off-the-field reputation. Instead, Cleveland bolsters their pass rush with the addition of Mizzou’s Markus Golden.

The 6-foot-2, 255-pound Golden is a more complete player than the Browns’ 2013 first-rounder, Barkevious Mingo, and he’ll be a welcome addition to a pass-rushing cast that has included players like Mingo, Paul Kruger, and Jabaal Sheard in recent years. Golden can effectively defend the run, and he has a good chance at putting up more sack production than Sheard or Mingo (two sacks each) did during 2014.
