Kaleb Prewett will sit out 2016.

Former Blue Springs safety Kaleb Prewett has transferred to Mizzou. The three-star recruit will join a stacked safety corps, becoming the seventh player at the position for the Tigers. While he won’t factor in to the Tigers’ 2016 plans, his highlights demonstrate that he could be a major factor going forward:

Prewett played in eight games for the Wildcats, totaling 49 tackles and one sack. He was replaced at free safety midseason and was arrested in December on an underage drinking charge. The Blue Springs, Missouri native played in six games in 2014, but had no statistical impact.  He will sit this year as a redshirt per NCAA rules.
