The St. Louis Rams weren’t able to take full advantage of their talent at the tight end position in 2014 due to the fact that their two quarterbacks, Shaun Hill and Austin Davis, forced offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to call plays even more conservatively than he would have if the Rams had their projected starter, Sam Bradford, healthy and under center at any point this season.

Under the circumstances, though, the Rams’ tight ends had a pretty good year. Both of their primary players at the position, Jared Cook and Lance Kendricks, finished among the top 32 tight ends in the league in receiving, while Cory Harkey provided a nice boost to the run game as the team’s primary lead blocker. Alex Bayer and Justice Cunningham also were developmental players who the Rams will hope to get more extensive contributions from in the future.
Advance through the next few slides to see what grades the Rams tight ends got for their respective performances during 2014.
