Dorial Green-Beckham Enrolls at Oklahoma; Experts React

Oklahoma Sooners coach Bob Stoops announced on Thursday that former Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham, who was kicked off the team after repeated disciplinary issues this past spring, will join the Sooners and be eligible for the 2015 season, though reports indicate that the Sooners are seeking an eligibility waiver so that he can play this year. Plenty of college football experts took to Twitter to voice their opinions:

Benjamin Allbright of 94.1 FM in Denver and the Sporting News’ Matt Hayes were highly critical of Oklahoma’s handling of the issue…

Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Rotoworld’s Josh Norris, and NFL Network’s Albert Breer all expressed doubt that Green-Beckham would gain eligibility in 2014…

ESPN’s Jake Trotter and Gabe DeArmond of PowerMizzou.com both voiced intrigue about the move…

Rivals.com’s Josh Helmholdt defended Green-Beckham and Oklahoma…

And Central Oklahoma wide receiver Christian Hood provided a sarcastic but humorous take on the whole situation…
