Saint Louis Billikens Winning A-10 title after Rick Majerus’s death.

Rick Majerus came to St. Louis in 2007 to resurrect a once proud basketball program. He had his obstacles, fighting obesity and the health problems associated with it. At the start of the 2012-2014 season, he left the Billikens for medical reasons. On November 16th, it was announced that he would not return to the team. He passed away on December 1st from heart failure. The Billikens riddled with grief and sorrow overcame huge obstacles to win both the Atlantic 10 regular season and tournament championship. They are 29-6 in the 2013 calendar year and it’s all thanks to the foundation that Rick Majerus built in St. Louis.
