It’s now time for the Monday Blues, a weekly recap of the St Louis Blues.

Weekly record: 3-0-1

The St. Louis Blues had a bounce back week after losing 3 out of 4. It started with a last minute minute against the Winnipeg Jets, then a blowout win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Two overtime games against the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Ottawa Senators to end the week. The Blues were able to get a huge win against the Columbus Blue Jackets but fell in Canada’s capital to at least get one point.

Top performer of the week:

Chris Stewart.

Chris Stewart had 4 goals and 1 assist in 4 games this week. He had an outstanding week and deserves to be honored with the top performer of the week. David Backes had the best looking goal all season on Saturday but Chris Stewart was crucial for the Blues this past week.

The Week Ahead.

The Blues will fly back to St. Louis tonight to play the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday and then will play the Montreal Canadiens on Thurday. Then the Blues will have an extended weekend north of the border first traveling to Edmonton to play the Oilers and then to Calgary to play the Flames.
