Cardinals Release 2014 Season Schedule

On Tuesday, the St. Louis Cardinals along with the other 29 teams released their 2014 regular season schedule. Here are some thoughts on the schedule.

– Season opener is Monday March 31st and the home opener is on April 7th. Both of those games are against the Cincinnati Reds. I don’t like play the Reds so much so early.

– The Yankees and Red Sox are coming to Busch Stadium. I am excited about that because when these two classic teams get to come to St. Louis.

– The Cardinals will play their cross state rival the Kansas City Royals between June 2nd thru the 5th.  The Royals look to be a much improved squad and the Cubs are in complete disarray.

– The Cardinals will end the season on the road in Chicago against the Cubs and in Phoenix against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Being on the road to end the season is rough but the previous series against the Colorado Rockies and Milwaukee Brewers.
