The St. Louis Cardinals lost to the Milwaukee Brewers 6-3 on Tuesday, August 20th.

The St. Louis Cardinals jumped out to an early one to nothing lead when Mat Adams singled to center field, scoring Yadier Molina. Then, in the fourth inning Yadier Molina homered to left field with Carlos Beltran on base to make it 3-0 Cardinals. After that the Milwaukee Brewers scored six straight runs, five runs were in the bottom of the fourth. Lance Lynn was charged with the loss. Lynn pitched six innings, giving up nine hits and four earned runs. Unfortunately for Lance Lynn, he had one bad inning which lead to his downfall. Lance Lynn let six straight base runners on base, five of them being singles.

The Cardinals will play tomorrow afternoon at Miller Park. First pitch is scheduled at 1:10pm Central. Jake Westbrook will be the scheduled starter. Westbrook has not been sharp in his last three starts, so loosing tonight’s game puts the Cardinals in a tough position. Cardinals cannot afford to loose the series to a pitiful Milwaukee Brewers team.
