On Tuesday, the St. Louis Rams announced that they will wear the 1999 throwback jerseys for 2 games this season. The games will be against the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. For Rams fans who know, the St. Louis Rams defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship game and then beat the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl 34 in Atlanta Georgia. Here are some of the excerpts from the press release on StlouisRams.com:

"ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Rams will wear their royal blue and yellow gold throw back jerseys twice this season to commemorate two of the most memorable games in team history, the team announced today.The Rams will don the 1999-era throwbacks when the host the Tennessee Titans on Nov. 3, and St. Louis will wear the vintage uniforms again on Dec. 22 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.Following the 1999 season, the Rams defeated the Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game to advance to the franchise’s second Super Bowl appearance. A week later, St. Louis defeated the Titans in one of the most thrilling finishes in Super Bowl history. The win gave the Rams their first World Championship.“Our throwback jerseys have evoked great fan support and passion over the past few years, and with a home schedule that features both Tennessee and Tampa Bay, we have a unique opportunity to wear our throwback jerseys against opponents that remind fans of the joy that St. Louis Rams football can bring our community,” Rams Executive Vice President of Football Operations/C.O.O.
