College sports are a staple of Americana. Unfortunately, college sports are under attack. Ed O’Bannon and other former athletes have joined in a lawsuit against the NCAA to be paid for their likeness in video games after their eligibility was up. But how will Ed O’Bannon destroy college athletics as we know it.

1. Uneven playing field

If you think their is already an uneven playing field, wait until paying for players becomes mandatory. Not only will non-BCS universities, but BCS level schools as well. Texas and other big budget schools might survive but teams like Vanderbilt and Iowa State will not. So the same school will always win in every sport. Yawn.
