The St. Louis Cardinals will be sending 5 players to the 2013 All Star game at Citi Field in Flushing, New York. The St. Louis Cardinals will send Carlos Beltran,  Matt Carpenter, Adam Wainwright, Allen Craig and Yadier Molina.

Yadier Molina and Carlos Beltran were selected by the fans. Adam Wainwright and Matt Carpenter were selected by the National League players. Adam Wainwright is slated to start next Sunday so he likely will not be playing in the All star game but is allowed to still be on the roster if he chooses to be. This will be the first all star game for Matt Carpenter. Allen Craig was selected by Bruce Bochy to join the NL All Star roster.

Matt Holliday is the most noticeable player not on the All star roster. His average is down from previous years but has hit 11 home runs and driven 42 runs in. The Cardinals sent the most players to the All star game from the National League.
